This Privacy Policy explains how MapLovin ("we," "our," or "us") collects, uses, and protects information in connection with our services, including integrations with Google Business Profile API and Apple Business Connect API.
1. Information We Collect
- Business/contact information (name, email, phone, company).
- Account data for clients who authorize us.
- Website usage data (cookies, IP address, browser type, session duration).
- Data from APIs (Google, Apple) when authorized.
2. How We Use Information
- Deliver and improve services.
- Manage and update business listings.
- Monitor reviews, posts, and insights.
- Comply with legal obligations.
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell your data. We may share it only:
- With service providers under confidentiality.
- When legally required.
- With client consent.
4. Third-Party APIs
Google Business Profile API
- Data: business details, posts, reviews, Q&A, insights.
- Purpose: manage listings, sync info, publish posts, monitor reviews, reporting.
- Revocation: revoke via Google Account → Security → Third-party access.
Apple Business Connect API
- Data: place card info (name, address, hours, categories), media (photos, logos, Showcase), performance insights.
- Purpose: sync details, publish Showcase, collect insights.
- Revocation: revoke via Apple Business Connect organization settings.
5. Data Retention & Deletion
We retain API-sourced data for the duration of the service agreement and delete/anonymize it within 180 days of termination, unless longer retention is required by law.
6. Security
- Encryption in transit and at rest.
- Least-privilege access control.
- Audit logging.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may request: access, correction, deletion, withdrawal of consent, and portability.
